Heritage Day is Chile’s most important cultural festivity. Every year, this event gathers thousands of people who participate in a series of free-of-charge themed activities intended to honor our cultural heritage.
Santa Carolina would not miss this event and for the third year running it opened its doors for all those who wanted to stroll through our park, visit the estate house, the ground-level and the underground cellar, the latter built in the 1880s and declared a National Monument in 1973.
This year, nearly 700 visitors –90% Chileans– enjoyed our guided tours and special prices at our wine shop.
Andrea Morris, Tourism Manager at Viña Santa Carolina, highlighted the importance of taking part in this kind of events. “We have a fine heritage and it is our duty to make it known and to ensure it is accorded the importance it deserves. We are very proud to participate in this activity and excited to see that the number of visitors grows steadily.”
