Prestigious opinion leader in the wine industry James Suckling published a list of Top 100 wines of Chile 2019 chosen among 1,200 wines tasted for the 2019 Chile Report.
In that list, Suckling ranked our very own Luis Pereira 2014 in 12th place, rated it with 97 points and described it as “a very fresh and richly delivered cabernet with a polished and refined feel to both the nose and palate. Rich cassis, red-plum and dark, stony aromas are elegantly dressed in cedary, nicely integrated oak. The palate has a very smooth texture. Super fine and plush, fusing richness with elegance”.
In turn, Herencia 2012 earned 96 points, was ranked 30th, and described as “a very impressive wine, in every aspect, with a beautifully ripe and intense nose of dark plums, blackberries and cassis, in very pure style. The palate is a deliciously smooth and long stream of dark berries and very integrated, cedary and spicy oak. Such intensity. There’s a lot of wine to like here”.
