SANTA CAROLINA CHARDONNAYS FEATURED IN WINE SPECTATOR

28 December 2020

Wine Spectator, one of the most prestigious magazines in the wine world, singled out our Reserva de Familia Chardonnay 2017 as one of the Chardonnays to explore the world. In the article entitled “9 Chardonnay Values to Explore the World” the author highlights examples from France, Italy, Chile, and California that stand out for their excellent price-quality ratio.

Among the wines mentioned, Reserva de Familia Chardonnay 2017 reaped the highest score, with 91 points. Kim Marcus described it as “Pure and rich, this is filled with a vibrant mix of dried white fruit and ripe citrus flavors that turn toasty midpalate. The buttery finish is long and well-spiced.”

In turn, Carolina Reserva Chardonnay 2018 was chosen as one of the 100 Top Values 2020, a ranking that highlights the best wines of the year under USD 25. Praised as one of the best “Rich White Wines” this Leyda Chardonnay was described by Kim Marcus as “this white is creamy and well-spiced, offering white fruit and spice flavors that lengthen out nicely. Ends with a plush, juicy finish.”

This recognition is a tribute to the effort and dedication that all of Santa Carolina’s team puts day by day to make our wines and we feel very proud to be able to give this quality assurance to our consumers.
