inicio Valleys and Vineyards The Rapel valley

The Rapel valley

Rapel is one of the largest valleys in the central region of Chile. Here, vineyards are planted mostly between 600 and 1,000 meters above sea level. This valley is also known for its various microclimates suitable for the widest range of grape varieties.

The Cachapoal and Colchagua valleys are situated within the Rapel valley.

The Totihue Estate located in Requinoa, Alto Cachapoal consists of different vineyards planted on flatland and slopes where different varieties but mostly Cabernet Sauvignon yield grapes of amazing quality. Totihue is also home to the modern winery where we produce Santa Carolina’s icon and super premium wines.
